A Short Biography

Margaret Peterson Haddix was born on April 9th, 1964.  Mrs. Haddix grew up on a farm halfway between Washington Courthouse, Ohio and Sabina, Ohio. Her father, John Albert, was a farmer, while her mother, Grace Marilee, was a nurse. She had 3 siblings; and older brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister. Peterson is currently forty-nine years old. Haddix has been writing since she was a very young girl. Margaret has written many books, such as The Shadow Series, Just Ella, Palace Of Mirrors, and many more. She is well known for some of her adult novels too. Her current publishing company is Simon and Schuster.
